This apartment is located above the Shotgun Bar in Island Park, ID. This neighborhood is FULL of wildlife. I regularly see moose and sometimes even bears! This is a quiet place with not much street traffic.

Guest Access

Guests have private parking separate from the bar and a private deck with an outdoor dining table and BBQ grill—perfect for enjoying meals outside. The entrance to the apartment is through the deck, so stairs are required to access the space. There is also a fire pit in the backyard of the bar, which may be shared with bar patrons. However, the atmosphere is always friendly and welcoming, making it a great place to meet locals and relax after a day of adventure!

My partner and I stayed here for a month and it felt like home! Spacious and cozy, well equipped for a snowy November working vacation. WiFi worked great the entire stay. Kitchen utensils and utilities were very well stocked, we had no problem cooking many elaborate meals. While the bar wasn’t open, there were folks around and the parking area and road were always plowed after it snowed. Katie was very responsive and communicative before and during our stay. It is a beautiful area, we went on a lot of nature walks and fishing trips nearby. The drives north up to West Yellowstone and south down to Rexburg were almost equally beautiful. I’m sure it would be absolutely gorgeous in the spring and summer too!

My wife and I stayed at Katie's Outlaw's Ridge for almost a week and absolutely loved the place! All the spaces were very clean, and we loved the cozy atmosphere, especially as the snow started falling! We were initially wary of possible noise from the bar below, but aside from being able to hear a few people talking during one afternoon, we pretty much forgot there was a bar below. Katie was a very communicative and responsive host. We'd definitely stay here again!
