This apartment is located above the Shotgun Bar in Island Park, ID. This neighborhood is FULL of wildlife. I regularly see moose and sometimes even bears! This is a quiet place with not much street traffic.

Guest Access

Guests have private parking separate from the bar and a private deck with an outdoor dining table and BBQ grill—perfect for enjoying meals outside. The entrance to the apartment is through the deck, so stairs are required to access the space. There is also a fire pit in the backyard of the bar, which may be shared with bar patrons. However, the atmosphere is always friendly and welcoming, making it a great place to meet locals and relax after a day of adventure!

Katie’s place was absolutely phenomenal. It was way bigger than we were expecting. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The bed was super cozy. The shower pressure was amazing. Shotgun Bar was very charming, and the noise did not carry upstairs. Katie was a really great host. She was proactive, responsive, and sent us very clear instructions. Can’t say enough good things about this place. If you are visiting Yellowstone it’s definitely worth the stay.

This AirBnB rental was cute and cozy; it was clean, spacious, and included a full kitchen, bathroom with tile shower, a living room with nice furniture, and a bedroom with a king size bed. The location was ideal for us; the unit was located above a bar/restaurant (where we could have breakfast, lunch, and dinner at reasonable prices), and was only a 35-minute drive from the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park. The owner of the AirBnB unit is also the owner of the bar/restaurant. She was friendly, accommodating, fair, and responsive. In addition, her staff at the bar/restaurant were sweet and welcoming. The entire experience was memorable and fulfilling.

Excelente hospedaje! Realmente te sentís como en tu casa ya que el lugar es muy completo. Cama cómoda, lavarropas y secarropas, una buena cafetera y hasta parrilla! La hemos pasado muy bien. Volveríamos sin dudarlo.

What a great spot! This is a perfect place for a quiet weekend while offering a very easy drive (30-40 mins) to Yellowstone National Park. Katie is a great host and I absolutely recommend a stay here!

Enjoyed our stay at Katie's place. It was about 20 minutes to Yellowstone. Great place to come back to at the end of a long day at the park. We ate several meals including Breakfast downstairs in the bar. The smell of Bacon every morning was inviting. Enjoyed the large TV in the evening and the cute deck for drinks. I would return again.

Great stay! Katie was super responsive and helpful. Offered late checkout. The bar downstairs was really helpful with some small supplies we needed late at night. Some RVs parked in the area. Well stocked and super clean place. Air conditioning and fans very helpful in the heat! Wish we stayed for longer

We had a great time! A lot of open space in the apartment, easy to get to, and we were well-equipped to cook what we needed. It was cozy, and we loved it!
